MIPI DSI Displays

In the modern world of high speeds interfaces and continuous new developments, the technical solutions are focused on the high performance, low power, and low electromagnetic interference (EMI).

New requirements lead to the new developments and interfaces. MIPI Display Serial Interface (MIPI DSI®) became one of the most requested interfaces in the last time period. Its algorithm of the data transfer came from the application area of cameras and video signals. It is a versatile, high-speed interface for displays in smartphones, tablets, laptops, automotive and other platforms.

The display producers, following the trend of the market, extend the product range with MIPI displays. To facilitate the implementation of the displays for the developers of the end products, the MIPI displays are provided together with reference code for initialization.
