Beck Elektronik now offers a completely new range of UVC products. UVC radiation is especially effective at disinfection purposes. By UVC radiation DNA structures are broken up and simple unicellar organisms such as bacteria, viruses and other germs can be reliably killed.
UVC LEDs are much more environmentally friendly than conventional technologies because no mercury is used and no ozone is produced.
All kinds of applications can be addressed due to a wide variety of SMD packages from 1313 up to 5050 with all kind of different viewing angles and impressive optical power. With that variety there are no restrictions on different designs. In addition low DC voltages are sufficient for their operation, which makes battery operation possible and simplifies their electrical control. Annoying warm-up times are also eliminated and pulse operation of the LED is possible.
