In 2022, a new generation of e-paper technology was presented by E Ink under the name "Gallery Plus". These full-color e-paper modules have a color spectrum that can reach 60,000 colors. This represents a 50% improvement over previous generations. The contrast ratio has been improved by 40%, from 10:1 to 14:1, providing a more impactful visual experience. The appearance of the new generation is similar to color prints, with the advantage of digital changes. This innovation can open up extremely exciting marketing opportunities and reach new market segments. 

E Inks Gallery Plus Series is available from BECK Elektronik in a variety of sizes including 13.3", 25.3" and 28". The main features are listed in the table below. The choice of displays with different aspect ratios is very convenient. It makes the displays interesting for applications with special requirements. The 28" as a bar-type display makes a good advertising display in public transport, such as buses and trains. The 13.3" display in DIN A4 format with aspect ratio 4:3 is widely used for e-readers, tablets and information boards. The 16:9 format of the 25.3" display came from the Full HD resolution that is widely used in TFT applications and can be considered as a replacement for posters and indoor advertising.
