25.3" e-Paper: from monochrome to color

Long time there was a gap between 13.3" and 31.2" in the e-Paper Displays product range. This time is over.

The 25.3“ is coming in three modifications to fullfill every customer’s need: 16 gray tones, 4 colors and full color.

 
1. Monochrome display

The monochrome display is offered in two versions: with normal operating temperature range ED253TT1 and extended operating temperature range ED253TT3. The extended version allows to drive display at negative temperatures and temperatures above 50°C in 1-bit black and white mode.

2. Four-color display

The EL253TV1 panel is based on the Spectra 3100 technology. It is a four-color display. The four colored pigments in the microcup structure of display allows to show deeper blacks, and brighter white, yellow, and red. The new performing algorithm has an advantage in showing sharper texts and more detailed images. Otherwise, the E Ink Spectra 3100 Driver IC can deliver the sparkling flashing effect which is important in the retail space. These features make the display to a must for sales applications with high level of customer interaction.

3. Full color display

The full color display AC253TT1 is the Advanced Color E-Paper based on the E Ink Gallery technology. Hier the ink can produce full color at every pixel, without the use of a color filter array. The operating temperature range is limited, that is why the panel matches better for the indoor applications like digital signage, public information board, menu board, gallery and more.

All displays are high-resolution and equipped with a mini-LVDS interface.  A suitable TCON boards are optionally offered for controlling the displays.
