In these difficult times we are all plagued by many worries. Are our loved ones well? How is the economic crisis affecting my workplace? How will it continue?
For a certain time, Europe has been able to keep the crisis away from our "gates". However, the sum of events in recent weeks has been very massive and is having an impact on all business areas and everyday life.
We at the BECK Group are now increasingly supporting orders and deliveries in medical electronics. Our displays as well as optoelectronic components are increasingly in demand for lung ventilators in various European countries. Our colleagues are actively assisting in the search for special products which are in particular demand in these difficult times.
We react to the changing market conditions as well as business necessities in a timely and preventive manner. Therefore, we have introduced a few new working methods to improve the health situation for our employees and to maintain smooth operations for our customers and suppliers:
- In our warehouses, teams have been set up to accept deliveries and shipments without contact at two separate storage locations.
- In our offices, the colleagues also work in two teams that alternate between on-site and mobile work.
- We have introduced several disinfection stations at all locations and distributed face masks to our employees.
- We support our employees who are at risk and also those who have family members who belong to the risk group.
In its long 95-year history BECK Elektronik has successfully survived many crises, recessions, wars, currency reforms and most recently 11 years ago a worldwide bank collapse. We will also master this crisis together with you.
Every crisis also creates new opportunities and this one is now within reach – we are growing closer together, because together we are stronger! Our primary goal is to keep all our employees healthy and to be able to offer you the same service that you are used to from us.
