Sicherungen
Produktübersicht
Die elektronische Sicherung ist eine Schutzvorrichtung, die einen Stromkreis bei Kurzschluss oder Überlastung selbsttätig abschaltet und eine Form von Überstromschutzeinrichtung darstellt. Dabei gibt es unterschiedlichste Formen von Sicherungen.
Thermosicherungen beispielsweise dienen zwar auch zum Schutz des Stromkreises, sind aber im Gegensatz zu einer elektrischen Sicherung nicht primär durch den sie durchfließenden Strom beeinflusst, sondern durch ihre Temperatur.
Rückstellende Sicherungen sind Kaltleiter auf Polymerbasis mit einem nichtlinearen Widerstandsverlauf. Bei hohen elektrischen Strömen, erwärmt sich diese und infolgedessen wird diese hochohmig. Nach der Abkühlung wird es von selbst wieder niederohmig.
